From January 31 to February 4, the world's largest toy exhibition Spielwarenmesse was held in Nuremberg.

This year the exhibition was similar to a grandiose show: there were performances with music, interactivity and competitions on almost every stand. 2850 exhibitors from 68 countries showed their products. About 71,000 guests from around the world! The exhibition showed products of 33 Russian companies.

«Scientific Entertainments» presented their educational kits, co-developing with Fanclastic construction sets and concepts of children's educational toys. Our children's laboratory “Savanto in Wissenland” especially admired the guests of the stand. Solid men reacted as boys to the game with the sensor in form of ladybug. Western partners were surprised that the software and sensors were created by Russian designers and engineers and were produced in Russia at such a high level.

On the first day of the exhibition, a cycle of negotiations with international partners, including the French association of toy retail FCJPE and the Swedish Association of Children's Goods, was held on the Russian stand. During the negotiations, an agreement was reached with the international association of the professional press of the International Toy Magazines Association (ITMA) on the development of a special project: «a magazine in a magazine» about the best Russian products for children will be published in applications to specialized issues all over the world.

“Participation in international exhibitions of this scale is a good way to draw attention to Russian products and brands, to stand out from many other offers,” commented Oleg Povalyaev, Ph.D., associate professor, general director of Scientific Entertainments, AIDT board member, — “Russian developers have something to surprise potential foreign customers, but we still have a lot to learn in order to make the most effective use of such areas for the promotion of our products and the conclusion of export contracts. We just started to accumulate this experience. ”

The next exhibition Spielwarenmesse will take place on January 30 — February 3, 2019, and next year it will undergo some changes, the organizers say.
