Digital laboratory for elementary school

Designated use

This digital laboratory for elementary school is designed to assist a teacher in the following activities:

  • Research-style in-class lessons in natural sciences
  • Further development of skills initially formed in the pre-school period working with scifun steve digital lab
  • Preparation of students for working with the digital equipment (including sensors) in the elementary school
  • Developing skills required to record individual reports on conducted research in the form of drawings, symbols, conclusions from the experiments and observations

Materials provided

The lab comes with plans of lessons, equipment and other materials for conducting nine research lessons, three of which make use of digital and analogous measuring devices and mobile phone.

Some experiments are designed to be conducted by a teacher, while the rest are designed to be performed by children.

The lab supplies include teacher’s manual and templates for the individual reports, methodology notes for the teacher on using equipment, sensors and software.
