Digital physics laboratory/ field (advanced) level

Designated use

This digital laboratory supports two types of experimental assignments for student:

  • Same-task assignment for the whole class of students (primarily for 7 to 9 grades)
  • Research-type individual tasks for students in 10 and 11 grade

The latter type of assignments build on the earlier acquired knowledge of working with sensors and tables, and require independent planning as well as experimental data processing.

Digital laboratory/ specialization level

this laboratory includes 24 usb compatible digital sensors and other equipment for experimental installations. Manual provides a complete set of instructions and explanation of methodology for the beginner users (basic level) are included as well as descriptions of sample research tasks requiring all sensors. Set-up of actual assignments provides helpful suggestions and tips. Regular updates of accompanying software digital laboratory are freely available through easily accessible website.

The program provides tools for individually planned and executed research, including data filtering and their export to the 3rd party programs such as (ms excel, open office, etc., frame-by-frame video editing allowing for positioning of objects with precise time registration, and putting together electronic reports on experiments supplied with initial data, photo and video records, templates of the tables, graphs and text comments.

Manual also contains 32 detailed, step-by-step scenarios of experiments; another 18 research topics are presented as suggested.
